HoggaJet Grit Recovery System

The HoggaJet and Jetpump compact air operated recovery system has been tried and tested over many years in arduous situations and found to an be efficient, and cost effective machine for the recovery of particulate materials.

Incorporating the Jet pump as the prime mover, it can produce 14” Hg of vacuum when connected to an air supply of 250 cfm at 80-100 psi. At these levels 5-6 tonne per hour of recovery can be obtained.

The system will recover solids in excess of 100 metres, dependent on particle size, type of material, volume and pressure of air supply. The HoggaJet only has one moving part, and with no electrical power required there is no risk in ATEX conditions.

Method of Operation

All material is recovered through the gulper suction head and is drawn via the rubber lined hose into the cyclone. The vortex separates the fine dusts from the heavier materials which fall under gravity into the hopper for re-use. Any remaining dust travels along the flexible hose to the filter box. Inside the filter box 18 filter socks collect the dust as the airstream passes through. Clean air is discharged through the JetPump and silencer to the surrounding atmosphere. The filter socks are cleaned each time the machine stops by reverse pulsing.

JetPump Grit Recovery

The Jet Pump is a vacuum recovery unit designed for the removal and transport of used abrasive media.


The Jet Pump is capable of handling material sizes up to 10 mm in diameter, with a transfer rate of up to 3 tons per hour depending on air supply and media. Its compact design allows media recovery in difficult to access areas.

Maximum solids handling capacity is obtained using our unique aerofoil lift action and direct through-flow design.

The replaceable liner ensures that most abrasive materials can be handled without encountering the wear problems of more complicated machines.

It requires only an air supply to operate and comes with inlet and discharge hoses.
